Common Problems in Commercial and Agricultural Wells
Water wells serve as a large underground filter, and like all filters they gradually become contaminated and plugged. Screened wells can become plugged with mineralization; perforated cased wells lose production as a result of corrosion and plugging of the perforations. Open hole wells can suffer from sediments and mineralization, which plugs the formation surrounding the well.
The WRS Inc. Solution
Brushing and bailing typically is the first corrective process for well rehabilitation. This is typically followed by acid cleaning, driven by high pressure carbon dioxide, utilizing the Aqua Freed process. The intent of these processes is to clean the well’s interior, as well as clean the exterior of the perforations, screens, and surrounding well formation. The results are restored water yield and a being a sanitized well.
